AK Creative Studio / Your information

Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of what happens to your information when you visit this website or get in touch.

Last updated: 25 October 2026

Who is responsible?

Kasia Kruk-Kirwan, operating as AK Creative Studio in the United Kingdom, is the controller of personal information collected through akdigitalstudio.co.uk. For privacy enquiries or requests, email hello@akdigitalstudio.co.uk.

What information is collected?

If you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address and message. If you email directly, your email address, message and any information you choose to include are received. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

The hosting and security providers may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and request times to deliver and protect the website.

How and why is it used?

Contact details and messages are used to respond to enquiries, discuss potential projects and provide requested services. Where you ask for a proposal or services, the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or performing that contract.

For other correspondence and for operating, troubleshooting and securing the website, the lawful basis is legitimate interests: running a small business, responding to messages and keeping the service secure. Where records must be retained by law, the lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

Providing contact information is optional, but a working email address and sufficient details are needed to answer your enquiry. Messages are not used to sign you up to marketing, and there is no automated decision-making or profiling.

Who receives your information?

Information is shared only as needed with service providers supporting the website and communications:

  • Vercel provides website hosting and processes website requests.
  • Cloudflare provides domain and DNS services and, where enabled, security or email forwarding.
  • Resend delivers messages submitted through the contact form when the form service is enabled.
  • Email providers process correspondence when messages are delivered and answered.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Personal information is not sold.

International processing

Some providers operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. The safeguards applicable to a transfer depend on the provider and destination, including UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards where required. Contact the address above for information about the providers and transfer arrangements relevant to your enquiry.

How long is information kept?

Enquiry correspondence is kept while it is needed to respond, prepare a proposal or follow up on an active discussion. Once a discussion is closed, information is reviewed and deleted when it is no longer needed, unless it forms part of a client relationship or is needed to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute.

Client, contract and financial records are kept for the period required by applicable legal and accounting obligations. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting and security providers’ service settings and retention policies. You can ask about retention of your particular correspondence at any time.

Cookies and analytics

The website’s own code does not set advertising or analytics cookies, use browser storage to track visitors, or include third-party advertising pixels. Fonts, images and videos are served as website assets rather than embedded social-media players.

Hosting or security services may use essential technologies to deliver the website and prevent abuse. If optional tracking is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before it is enabled.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.

To make a request, email hello@akdigitalstudio.co.uk. Requests are normally answered within one month; where an extension is legally permitted, you will be told why.

Questions or complaints

Please get in touch if you have concerns about how your information is handled. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
